About the design of this website

TrackTownSoftware.com is implemented using Asp.Net MVC, SQL Server, Javascript, Ajax and Jquery. Silverlight examples will be coming soon.

Asp.Net MVC is built on top of Asp.Net and uses a "model-view-controller" framework. MVC is a popular approach to web development today; other popular MVC frameworks include Ruby on Rails, Struts, Django and Spring MVC. Compared to traditional Asp.Net web form applications, Asp.Net MVC encourages a "separation of concerns", a testable design, and superior performance and scalability.

Graphic Design

"Spencer's Butte" and "Cloud" banner images are by Jennifer Meyer of Tribute Web Design. Jennifer also provided a css theme for this website which I implemented. I'm very happy with the result and look forward to working with Jennifer on future projects. - Chris Hamilton
